Christina Westmoreland is a Managing Director & Head of Trading in the Institutional Sales & Trading department.  Ms. Westmoreland is responsible for the execution and operation of the firm’s trading and market making platform.

Ms. Westmoreland brings significant experience working with institutional and corporate clients to plan and execute equity strategies, including stock buybacks.  Prior to joining Hovde, Ms. Westmoreland spent 17 years at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, most recently as a senior trader covering multiple sectors.  Ms. Westmoreland joined the trading desk after five years in institutional sales, covering both international and domestic clients.

Ms. Westmoreland holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and French from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  She resides in Atlanta, Georgia.  Ms. Westmoreland is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and holds Series 7, 63, and 55 licenses.
