Mr. Coohill is an Equity Research Analyst in the Research Department for Hovde Group, responsible for equity research coverage of the US Bank Sector.

Prior to joining Hovde Group in July 2026, Mr. Coohill spent the previous five years at Raymond James, where he covered small and mid-cap banks, with a focus on the Western US as well as Banking-as-a-Service and tech-enabled banks.

Mr. Coohill holds a Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in Finance and Business Economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University. A New Jersey native, Mr. Coohill currently resides in Florida.
