Justin Maghen Associate

Mr. Maghen is responsible for evaluating the financial and strategic options of financial institutions, performing financial analyses and valuations of banks and thrifts, and assessing the impact of national and regional trends on the financial services industry. He has worked with clients on both the buy-side and sell-side of mergers and acquisitions, branch and subsidiary divestitures, in addition to providing valuation and other strategic evaluations.

Mr. Maghen is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of California.  Prior to joining Hovde, Mr. Maghen was working with nonprofit organizations such as religious groups, schools and municipalities as a Real Estate advisor.

A native of Los Angeles, California, Mr. Maghen earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles, majoring in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting. Mr. Maghen currently serves on the alumni board of the Phi Kappa Psi society and continues to remain involved in the University's Alumni Association.
