Mr. Kolesnikov has several years’ experience assisting financial institution clients with valuation and appraisal services for ESOP/401(k) transactions, capital offerings, estate and tax matters, corporate strategic planning, goodwill impairment testing, and core deposit intangible analyses. Mr. Kolesnikov has also assisted depository institutions with merger and acquisition transactions, private and public capital offerings, and debt restructurings.
Mr. Kolesnikov is responsible for evaluating the financial and strategic options of financial institutions, performing financial analyses and valuations of banks and thrifts, assisting in the facilitation of merger and acquisition transactions, and assessing the impact of national and regional trends on the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Hovde Group, Mr. Kolesnikov was with Monroe Financial Partners, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois, where he assisted community banking clients with merger and acquisition, capital raising, and valuation services. Mr. Kolesnikov also worked for Siena Capital Partners, a bank focused private equity fund, assisting the portfolio managers with analytical support and bank investments.
Mr. Kolesnikov graduated cum laude from the University of South Florida, double majoring in Finance and International Business and minoring in Management. Mr. Kolesnikov is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, holds the Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses, and is a CFA Level II Candidate.
