Andrew J. Fitzgerald
Andrew Fitzgerald has over a decade of experience providing investment banking services to clients across a number of industries. His areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, stock appraisals, and corporate restructurings. In addition, he is a member of the firm's fairness opinion committee.
After beginning his career at Hovde, Mr. Fitzgerald received his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees at Northwestern University School of Law and Kellogg School of Management, respectively. Prior to rejoining Hovde in 2011, he worked in the private equity practice group of Ropes and Gray LLP, a multinational law firm, and at Lazard, a global investment bank, where he advised middle market clients in the business services and consumer retail industries.
Mr. Fitzgerald is an advisory director of Farmers Savings Bank, headquartered in Mineral Point, WI. He is also a director of Southern Wisconsin Bancshares Corp., the holding company of Farmers Savings Bank, and he is a director of Southern Colorado Corp., the holding company for Citizens Bank of Pagosa Springs, headquartered in Pagosa Springs, CO.
Mr. Fitzgerald received his B.A. from Northwestern University. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and is licensed with FINRA: Series 7, 24, 63, 79, and 87.
