Michael Golden |
Mr. Golden joined Hovde in April 2011 as Senior Vice President in the Capital Markets Division. His responsibilities include advising clients on capital raising and strategic capital transactions as well as structuring and selling securities of bank and thrift stocks and other securities for the firm. Mr. Golden has over twenty-five years of experience in capital raising and capital markets transactions for financial institutions, specifically marketing and trading community bank securities.
Mr. Golden has been in the investment business for many years providing financial advice to both private and institutional investors. Prior to joining Hovde, Mr. Golden formerly worked at Wunderlich Securities where he was responsible for marketing bank securities and raising capital primarily for community banks. Prior to joining Wunderlich Securities, for twenty-four years Mr. Golden was a Vice President at Stifel Nicolaus and prior to that, for twelve years, Mr. Golden was a financial advisor at Chicago based Bacon Whipple & Co.
Mr. Golden has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Quincy University. Mr. Golden was in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for six years. Mr. Golden is licensed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority as a registered representative and holds the following securities licenses: Series 7 & 63.
